DTS CAD-4 Decoder
Designed as a companion to the CAE-4 Encoder, the CAD-4 is a high-performance decoder enabling instant and accurate monitoring of DTS bitstreams. Used together, the CAE-4 Encoder and CAD-4 Decoder enable studio professionals to encode soundtracks and music in the DTS format for DVD and CD release.
Onboard 24-bit D-to-A converters are provided for optimum analog performance, while separate digital outputs enable connection to outboard reference D-to-A converters. The CAE-4¡¦s rear panel features XLR connectors for balanced analog outputs, 24-bit AES/EBU-format digital outputs, plus AES/EBU, optical and coaxial SP-DIF inputs.
